Captain Robertson is fully licensed and has years of experience on the coastal waters of Maine. He also has spent the last 17 years as a commercial fishermen, scuba diver and is a life long enthusiast of Maine’s rocky coast and natural beauty.

This working cruise is a crash course in lobster fishing. During the cruise we focus on hauling the Captain’s traps that are scattered around the bay and shoreline of Milbridge. You will learn how delicious Maine Lobsters are harvested by means of bait and trap.

Enjoy the thrill and anticipation of waiting for each trap to break the surface to see what treasures it beholds.

Lobster Lunch Aboard the Mairi Leigh

If you have an appetite for lobster, perhaps steaming your catch aboard the boat is enticing. After hauling our catch choose your lobster and have it steamed aboard the boat. Enjoy eating the freshest lobster you have ever had while anchored in a relaxing scenic island cove. Advanced arrangements for this cruise are required so please request as far in advance as possible.
